Ethiofencarb (Ref: BAY 108594) |

Ethiofencarb is a carbamate insecticide. It is highly soluble in water and has a low volatility. Depending on local conditions it may be moderately persistent in soils but it is not expected to be persistent in water systems. Based on its physicochemical properties there is a high risk of ethiofencarb leaching to groundwater. It is highly toxic to bumblebees via the oral route but moderately toxic to most other biodiversity. Ethiofencarb is moderately toxic to mammals if ingested and is an acetylecholinesterase inhibitor. |
