EPTC is a selective herbicide. It is moderately soluble in water and is highly volatile. It is not expected to be persistent in soil systems but may be in water depending on local conditions. There may be a risk of drift. EPTC is moderately toxic to most biodiversity. This substance is also moderateoly toxic to mammals via the oral route. EPTC is an acetyl cholinesterase inhibitor, a neurotoxin and an irritant. |
