SUMMARY
Dibutyl phthalate is an onsolete insect repellent. Very little information is available regarding its environmental fate. It is moderately toxic to fish, algae and aquatic invertebrates. Dibutyl phthalate has a low mammalian oral toxicity but may impact on reproduction/fertility.
