Demeton-O-methyl is an organophosphate insecticide. Other than having a moderate aqueous solubility, very little data is available regarding its environmental fate. It is moderately toxic to honeybees and earthworms. Other ecpotoxicity data is missing. Demeton-O-methyl is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and a neurotoxin. It is also an irritant. |
